A Legacy of Excellence, Now Under One Roof

Southern Rewind and Hagen Electric have been trusted names in Southern Alberta for decades, each bringing unique strengths to the industry. Since 2022, they have operated as sister companies, and as of April 1, 2025, they are officially united under one roof—offering enhanced service, expanded expertise, and greater efficiency for our customers.

Southern Rewind began in June of 1982, when Dwayne Graham opened the doors as a one-man operation with just his toolbox. From those humble beginnings, Dwayne built a company grounded in hard work, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to service.

Through the years, Southern Rewind grew into a trusted name in electric motor rewinds and repair as well as pump repair. The company’s success was driven not only by quality craftsmanship but also by the dedication of its team—individuals who stood by the business through challenges and triumphs alike. As Dwayne reflected,

“Through the years, many of my staff at Southern Rewind helped pave our way to success. They rode through the storms with me, we celebrated the wins, and together we are all the reason Southern Rewind is still successful today. I can’t thank everyone enough for their time and dedication. It means more to me than I could ever put into words. Thank you.”
